Skills Exchange Award Application - British Society for Haemostasis & Thrombosis

The BSHT provides travel bursaries to applicants who need to learn a new skill to progress their research, which cannot be catered for in their home institution.

The application needs to outline what new skill will be acquired, why there is a need to attain that skill and why the host institution they are travelling to is the most suitable place to achieve this. The applicant also needs to justify the duration of their visit and the associated costs.

There is no application deadline for travel bursaries. An application can be submitted at any time using the on line application form (see below). It is recommended that applications are submitted at least 3 months before the applicant is due to travel. It is expected that the applicant will present the work undertaken at the host institution at the subsequent BSHT meeting after their return.
